Soil Wall
The clay soil is mixed with straw and spread over the surface.
By adjusting the amount of straw used, the finish has the roughness and delicate texture characteristic of earthen walls.
Taigetsu no niwa (待月の庭)

The garden stones, silver grass, and other plants shine delicately in the moonlight.
Entrance handle
To evoke the Take-komai(竹小舞) and shuro-nawa(シュロ縄) that underlie the earthen walls, the front door handle is made of a reinforced concrete rod wrapped in straw rope.
The texture of the straw rope that visitors first touch allows them to experience the feel of the soil and earth.

It captures a panoramic view of the mountains stretching out from Yufudake.
Washi paper(和紙)
It echoes the roughness of the straw on the plastered walls.
The ceiling and fittings are covered with thin Awa paper, which allows the bast fibers to show through.
The space resembles a hut of some ancient Japan, wrapped in earth and fabric, creating an atmosphere that is one with the natural surroundings of the garden.
